Let It Shine Inc is a volunteer run nonprofit created in March of 2020 to "gather love and give it away." We run The Pantry at The Museum, 137 Seventh Street in Verplanck, and we also work one on one with women to get them the things and services they need.
To support our mission, Let It Shine runs The Sunday Market on The River, May through October at Cortlandt Waterfront Park and The LISA (Let It Shine Again) Thrift Boutique, upstairs from The Pantry. Donations are arranged by appointment. We accept beautiful and useful things for the home, clean and in excellent condition. We ask that the boxes and bags they arrive in are also clean and dust free. To inquire about donations email firstname.lastname@example.org With limited space and and a steep staircase, no donations are accepted without approval and an appointment.
The World's Greatest Volunteers are a dedicated group of adults who embrace the core values of Let It Shine; kindness, simplicity and discretion, keep The Pantry and The Boutique running! We have a waitlist for volunteers at this time. Email email@example.com to learn of volunteer opportunities.
It's costs about $1,500 a month to run The Pantry. Food donations are always appreciated and arranged by appointment. Cereal, pasta, peanut butter and jelly are favorites. We can only accept food that you have purchased yourself. Email firstname.lastname@example.org to schedule a donation drop off.
Gift cards to food stores are welcome along with cash donations which we can accept online.
